STEPS:
Shadows// Urban Decay: Deep End (green), Omen (purple), Midnight Rodeo (gold/bronze)
Apply on whole lid, all the way up to the brow bone and also under the water line on bottom lid. Darker on the outer corners of the lid. Now on the inner corners apply the gold/bronze color. For the shimmer effect pat on silver glitter all over lid.
Liners// Urban Decay: 24/7 liquid eyeliner, 24/7 glide-on eye pencil
Apply the liquid liner on upper lid all the way into the inner corners to define the eye shape. with the eye pencil go into the water line and again all the way into the inner corners.
Lashes// Urban Decay: Lush Lash mascara, False lashes (indivisual ones)
Apply few coats of mascara depending on amount of volume you seek. Then apply the false lashes one by one from outer corner working your way in. Then on the bottom apply three indivisual lashes on the outer corner. Apply mascara on top and bottom lashes again for better blend.
Lips // Urban Decay: Junkshow (eye shadow), chap stick (any kind)
Apply the chap stick all over lip and then pack a brush with the eye shadow and pat it on top of the lip while the chap stick is still sticky.
End result ! Play up your eyes with FALSIES, GLITTER, and COLOR

MONIE’S BACK TO SCHOOL
Since I attend a makeup artist school my bag is always big and something that is easy to carry around. To be a professional makeup artsist what you always need to have are things that will make you smell better. Because you are always up against people’s faces to apply their makeup. You need a fresh breath and a clean oder. A camera is an essential as well, to keep track of all your work so you can add on to your portfolio.
DON’T FORGET YOUR WATER! always be hydrated your standing up all day!

what’s in your bag? (back to school edition)
Sophie’s Back to School
Having a huge bag is necessary when you have class all day from 9:oo-5:oo. I always go for something cheap because you’re banging it around everywhere. (Last year I used a Longchamp and it didn’t last long…what a tragedy…) The daily planner is my bible. Having a cute larger sized laptop case helps to make all your files and notebooks in one area making it easy to get to and stylish at the same time.
I always, always, always have a bar of chocolate and sweet flavored gum to help me get through the day. Small body splash to refresh yourself once in awhile. Miami gets hot so I never forget it!
Being a Theatre Design major reading plays and writing snippets are a daily ritual. It’s something about the magic of theatre that fascinates me. The language and design and movement is something completely out of this ordinary reality.
